“What is the most valuable thing you have gained from Building and Enhancing Self-Esteem?

 

Key Message:

*Showing young children how to identify and express emotions helps them gain a sense of control, share experiences and build healthy relationships.

*By naming and understanding children’s feelings, we are giving them the message that we care about how they feel.

*Learning to express emotions in healthy ways takes time and adult support.
