It has been a while since we have had a blog post.
April and May passed by just like that and Spring is here for real!
We would like to take this time to thank and appreciate all parent and caregivers in honour of Mother’s Day and Father’s Day.
This takes us back to Building Block 1 and how special Trust and Attachment is between parents/caregivers and children.
A trusting relationship is warm-hearted and comforting, considerate and responsive.
Creating a trusting relationship begins with parents/caregivers and the children and it involves making sure that
1) a sense of safety is provided,
2) supporting children to regulate their emotions and
3) having open communication.
